Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had the best gift for hundreds of his fans on the occasion of Eid as he greeted them from the balcony of his Bandra residence, Galaxy Apartment. Like every year, this year too, a sea of fans gathered outside his residence to catch a glimpse of the actor.
On Monday evening, several pictures and videos of Salman Khan on his balcony surfaced on social media. Dressed in a classic white pathaani, the Sikandar star waved to his fans, ensuring everyone got a clear glimpse of him as he stood near the window.
His niece and nephew Ayat Sharma and Ahil Sharma were also spotted in the pictures with him on the balcony. In one of the videos, he is also seen interacting with Ayat.
Salman shared video on his Instagram handle and wrote, "Shukriya Thank you aur sab ko Eid Mubarak!"
Salman also treated fans with his highly-anticipated film, Sikandar, on the occasion of Eid. The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal among others. It hit the big screens on March 30 and received mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike.
Security upgraded at Salman's residence
In January 2025, Salman ramped up the security at his residence as locals spotted new bulletproof glasses guarding the balcony of Galaxy Apartments. This came amid constant threats to his life and even to his family members from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The balcony, from where Salman waves at his fans, is now covered completely with bulletproof glass.
Meanwhile, Salman has been surrounded by tight security ever since the assassination of veteran politician and his close friend, Baba Siddique, in Mumbai in October 2024. The police chargesheet in the case revealed that the Wanted actor was the primary target of the hitmen, however, their plan was foiled due to the heavy security around him. They thus decided to kill Siddique and by doing it, send a warning to Salman.
For those unversed, Salman and the Bishnoi gang's feud dates back to 1998 when, during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hain, the actor reportedly went on a hunting trip and hunted a blackbuck, an animal which is considered sacred by the Bishnoi community. Bishnoi, who is now in jail, publically declared that it was the goal of his life to either make Salman apologise for the act or kill him.
