Salman Khan starrer Sikandar was one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie, which was released on Sunday (March 30), has received negative reviews from the critics and the audiences. However, on day 1, Sikandar took a decent opening at the box office. But, of course, the collection was less than the expectations.
Sikandar Box office Collection Day 1
Sikandar on its day one collected Rs. 26 crore which is not bad, but it is also not a great amount. It was a Sunday release, and there were two big festivals like Gudi Padwa and Ugadi that day. So, at least, a Rs. 35 crore plus opening was expected.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Eid Box Office Collection
Just like Sikandar, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was also released a day prior to the Eid. However, that was a Friday, and the movie had minted Rs. 13.5 crore on its day 1. On day 2, which was the day of Eid festival, the movie had collected Rs. 25.75 crore.
Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 2
Now, today (Monday, March 31), it is Eid, a festival during which Salman Khan fans are expected to rush to theatres in huge numbers. The movie is expected to show a jump at the box office, and it might collect around Rs. 35 crore on its second day. But, if the growth is not there, the film might collect between Rs. 25-30 crore.
However, if Sikandar shows a drop today due to the negative reviews, it will be clear that the movie has been rejected by the audience.
So, let’s wait and watch whether Sikandar will get a good response on Eid or not.

Sikandar Budget
Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar is reportedly made on a budget of Rs. 200 crore.
