Rapper Tevin Hood, popularly known as T-Hood, was shot dead at his home near Atlanta, United States, on Saturday. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was heavily bleeding, and succumbed to his injuries even before reaching the hospital.

According to reports, T-Hood was shot around 7 pm at his home located in Lee Road in Lilburn, just outside Atlanta. While some reports stated that there was a party going on at his place, his mother denied the claims.

He was rushed to the hospital soon after the incident, but he could not be saved, and was declared dead on arrival.

The reason behind why he was shot is yet to be ascertained, and the culprit has not been nabbed yet.

T-Hood's music producer Deedotwill paid an emotional tribute to the late rapper and wrote, "We was just on the phone all day i cant believe you are gone REST IN PEACE T-HOOD I LOVE YOU BROTHER (sic)."

T-Hood's girlfriend Kelsie also penned a long note, slamming people spreading rumours and asking her to stay quiet about his death. "First off I’ve been advised not to speak up by plenty of parties. I can’t sit back and let this narrative being created go on. The love of my life is GONE. The man I lay with and cuddle every single night…is no longer here (sic)."

She went on to say, "I want to ask for respect and privacy I won’t because I will always defend my baby. I don’t condone this s*** in anyway shape form, or fashion. I am sick to my stomach. I don’t wish this on any one. My brain is all over the place, this is a total nightmare but I’m gonna get this off. I don’t even have time to grieve or say my respects in the right manner because I am defending myself, being attacked by people who are creating weird and sick rumors (sic)."

T-Hood was known for popular tracks such as Ready 2 Go, Big Booty, and Perculator. He was also recognised for his projects like Girls in the Party and Yellow Xan. T-Hood was considered an emerging voice in Atlanta's underground hip-hop scene, describing his musical style as "freaky trap".
