Canadian electronic music producer and DJ Joel Thomas Zimmerman, famously known as Deadmau5, found himself in the middle of a chaotic situation after a man, dressed up exactly like him, trespassed at his event and impersonated him. The incident took place during Deadmau5's gig at Veld Music Festival held at Downsview Park in Toronto.
A video of the incident has now gone viral in which the imposter can be seen getting into a scuffle with the security after being caught, and he even attacked a few guards, before they took him down.
He was first seen hitting a guard up on the stage, and he later ran down, only to be surrounded by more guards. The guards tried to pin him down, and in the process, his pant was also seen coming off in front of hundreds of fans.
The guards finally managed to overpower the imposter and he was dragged off the stage, and the event was resumed.
As the video went viral, netizens wondered if the entire act was staged or if the man had actually entered the venue and sneaked in on the stage while impersonating the Canadian DJ.
