Ramayana is one of the most-awaited films of the year. On Thursday, the makers shared a teaser of the movie introducing Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the teaser, and while it is a visually grand teaser and Ranbir is impressive, the netizens have given mixed reviews to it.

A netizen tweeted, "Not bad but not great either. Ranbir does look like Bhagwan Ram 🙏 Expectations were too high. Not at par with them. Slightly disappointed. Still hopes are really high (sic)."

Ramayana Teaser Rama Glimpse

The teaser mainly focuses on Ranbir, but we do get small and blurry glimpses of Ravie Dubay (Lakshmana) and Sai Pallavi (Sita). Even a scene featuring Yash as Raavan has been added in it.

The teaser showcases a few important moments from Lord Rama's life. Ranbir's fans are super excited to watch him on the big screens as Lord Rama.

The movie is mounted on a budget of around Rs. 4000 crore, so the audience's expectations from Ramayana are also quite high. It will be interesting to see whether the Ranbir Kapoor starrer will be able to beat Dhurandhar The Revenge at the box office or not.

Ramayana Release Date

Ramayana part 1 is all set to hit the big screens on Diwali this year. According to some reports, part 1 will end with Sita Haran, however, there's no confirmation about.

Meanwhile, part 2 of Ramayana is slated to release on Diwali 2027.
