Bollywood couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa surprised fans on Wednesday (July 9) by announcing their pregnancy, 3.5 years after tying the knot. The duo had dated for 11 years before getting married in November 2021.
Sharing a graphic picture with a cradle in the middle, the text on the image read, "Baby on the way." The couple announced the happy news in a collaboration post and captioned it, "Elated."

Soon after they shared the happy news with their fans and followers, several celebrities flooded the comments section of their post with congratulatory messages.
Reacting to Rajkummar and Patralekhaa's post, Kiara Advani, who is currently expecting her first baby with Sidharth Malhotra, dropped several red heart emojis in excitement at the announcement. Neha Dhupia commented, "Congratulations, you guys." "Woaaahhhhhh," wrote Nushrratt Bharuccha. Soha Ali Khan said, "Congratulations!!!! Such happy news. Cannot wait!!!"
While Lara Dutta wrote, "Congratulations." Sonam Kapoor commented, "So happy for you both my dear friends." Varun Dhawan added, "Congratualtionsssssss." Farah Khan said, "Finally the news is out!! I was having a tough time keeping it to myself.. congratulations."
