Actor and MTV Roadies creator Raghu Ram made an appearance on the panel of Samay Raina's India's Got Latent, a few months ago. Amid the obscenity row, Raghu reflected on his experience, calling it "cathartic." He shared that despite not being a comedian, he has been part of the infamous AIB (All India Bakchod) Roast featuring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor as well as India's Got Latent.
Speaking to GPlus, Raghu shared that after many years, he felt like he had opened up as the environment was unrestrained and there weren’t any restrictions. "You can have fun without any fear because there, no one takes you seriously. Like they say, 'Jaisa des, waisa bhes.'"

Further, Raghu shared that recently, when he visited a school for his son’s admission, the teacher recognised him and told him that they loved him in Latent. In response, he asked them why they watched it, as people could get offended.
Raghu then recalled the 2014 AIB Roast and said, "Even at the AIB Roast, everyone was insulting each other but no one was taking it seriously. If you find a place where no one takes each other seriously, you have a freedom there."

Meanwhile, on Thursday, in the Latent row, Raghu arrived at the Maharashtra Cyber Police for questioning regarding his involvement in an episode of India’s Got Latent.
The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has also reissued summons to Ranveer Allahbadia, Raina, Apoorva Mukhija aka Rebel Kid, and all panelists of the show for further questioning.
In connection with the FIR filed against Samay, a team from the Assam police visited Raina’s apartment in Pune on Thursday to serve a notice
Samay also deleted all the episodes of his show from his YouTube channel amid backlash.
