Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh recently exited No Entry 2, which stars Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles, reportedly due to 'creative differences.' While producer Boney Kapoor denied these claims, director Anees Bazmee has now shared that he is not upset with the Lover singer over his exit. He is simply happy that the film is being made. Bazmee added that everything is happening according to God's will, and he has worked on the project with sincerity, leaving the rest in God's hands.

Speaking to News18, Anees recalled his last meeting with Dosanjh, which lasted only 10 minutes. During the interaction, they discussed the singer's availability, as there had been a lot of back and forth regarding dates. "He told me that he’s trying to work out his dates. Boney ji was also there. Since it’s a big film, everything that happens makes news. I’m used to do these things and I don’t let such things bother me. Main kabhi safaiyaan nahi deta. Jo hona hai, woh hi hoga aur jo hoga, achcha hi hoga," added the filmmaker.

Further, Anees called Diljit a 'very honest human being,' and said that he is a talented actor. He added, "The first time I met him was when I went to narrate the script to him. He didn’t even listen to the full script. He told me, ‘Kahaani samajh aa gayi hai. Aap picture bana rahe hai. Teen heroes hai. Comedy hai. No Entry dekh ke hum kitne hasse hai.’ And he instantly agreed to do the film. He's such a simple guy."

Diljit Dosanjh is yet to comment on his exit from No Entry 2.
