Shraddha Arya and Shakti Anand are back as Preeta Arora and Karan Luthra in the hit television serial Kumkum Bhagya. This marks Shraddha's first project after welcoming her twins — a boy and a girl — and their reunion comes months after the official conclusion of Kundali Bhagya in December 2024. On Wednesday, the makes unveiled a new promo on social media, showing Preeta and Karan's return to the serial.
The clip begins with Karan making a grand entry as he inaugurates a hospital. As he enters, he meets Preeta’s daughter, Prarthana Parikh (Pranali Rathod), who is desperately searching for her missing mother. When Karan asks whom she’s looking for, she replies, 'Aapni maa ko,' prompting Karan to respond, 'Main aapni Preeta ko.'

Later, Preeta could be seen passing by on a stretcher, and as her hand brushes against Karan’s unknowingly, a sudden wave of familiarity hits him.
The caption read, "Bhagya le aaya hai Preeta aur Karan ko Prarthana ki zindagi mein, ab kya hoga iss kahaani ka naya mod? Dekhiye #KumkumBhagya, har roz, raat 9 baje, sirf #ZeeTV par."
In December last year, Kundali Bhagya, the spin-off show of Kumkum Bhagya, concluded its successful seven-year run. Sharing a video on her Instagram handle, Shraddha wrote, "You won’t believe that I wrote and deleted this caption at least 25 times ‘cuz.. nothing .. no words could truly describe what I carry in my heart at this moment.. the moment I bid adieu to my most successful, nurturing, gratifying, lasting & Loyal piece of work. #KundaliBhagya."
"This Show saw me Grow.. grow from a silly- goofy young girl to a married responsible (now) mother to be (who’s still quite silly & goofy but that’s besides the point). So you can imagine how close this journey has been to my heart," she added.
