Television actress Shraddha Arya is all set to make her comeback as Preeta in one of the longest-running TV shows, Kumkum Bhagya. This marks her first project after welcoming her twins — a boy and a girl. The actress had quit Kundali Bhagya, the spin-off show of Kumkum Bhagya after 7.5 years and was on a maternity break.
Confirming the news, Shraddha told Times Now, "A big yes! I missed being part of the Bhagya Universe." While she didn’t reveal when she would begin filming, she added, "All I can say right now is soon; soon enough for fans to not miss any episode of Kumkum Bhagya hereon."
Further, the source close to the production added that Shraddha will be reprising her character Preeta, to enter Kumkum Bhagya. "Shraddha’s character was immensely loved by the audience, and she’s all set to make a comeback in Kumkum Bhagya as Preeta. The team has already discussed it with her, and she has given her nod," revealed the source.
On September 2024, Shraddha announced her pregnancy on social media. She penned a sweet caption. She wrote, "We Are Expecting A Little Miracle!!! #Pregnancy #FutureParents #Blessed."
In 2021, Arya married Indian Navy Officer, Rahul Nagal in an intimate ceremony in Delhi.
Earlier, Shraddha bid farewell to Kundali Bhagya and penned an emotional note reflecting on her journey. Sharing a video on her Instagram handle, Shraddha wrote, "You won’t believe that I wrote and deleted this caption at least 25 times ‘cuz.. nothing .. no words could truly describe what I carry in my heart at this moment.. the moment I bid adieu to my most successful, nurturing, gratifying, lasting & Loyal piece of work. #KundaliBhagya."
"This Show saw me Grow.. grow from a silly- goofy young girl to a married responsible (now) mother to be (who’s still quite silly & goofy but that’s besides the point). So you can imagine how close this journey has been to my heart," she added.
