Actor, television personality, writer and comedian Danish Sait tied the knot with fiancee Anya Rangaswami on Wednesday.
The couple had a low-key wedding in view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
They reportedly tied the knot at a private hotel in the city with just a handful of guests in attendance.
The wedding was also streamed on a broadcasting platform for those who couldn’t attend the ceremony.
The couple opted for a registered wedding and exchanged rings in the presence of family and close friends.
Danish shared the first pictures from the wedding with his fans on Instagram.
Along with the beautiful pictures, Danish wrote, "Anya and I exchanged rings today in the presence of 15 of our closest family & friends, following our registered wedding yesterday."
"As we embark on this journey of love and togetherness, please bless us and send us your love," he added.
Moments after he posted the picture, fans and celebrities showered love on the couple. Anushka Sharma, Saqib Saleem, Dia Mirza, Sunita Kapoor, Rashi Khanna, Aahana Kumra and Yuzvendra Chahal congratulated the couple.
Danish's sister, actress Kubbra Sait also shared the same pictures of the couple on her official Instagram account and wrote, "The babies are married… Wish you both the best forever to come."
Danish had informed in December 2020, that he had proposed to Anya and she said yes. In a post on Twitter, Danish shared the news and had said that he is "very happy".
Danish is an actor, host, comedian and content creator. He began his career as a RJ before playing the lead in Humble Politician Nograj. The film is co-written by the actor, and is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Danish is a popular face in Kannada cinema.
On the other hand, Anya is a graphic designer and works independently in Mumbai. In her Twitter bio, Anya has described herself as, "enjoying what I do, but often dreaming about reading and writing in a quiet house on the beach."
