The one person who has been mercilessly accused by people is Queen Director, Vikas Bahl. Apart from the victim who was the ex-employee of Phantom accusing Vikas of molesting her, Kangana too has stated that on many occasions Vikas had misbehaved with her. Even a lot of industry insiders like Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane have also confirmed Vikas’ heinous acts. And now joining the bandwagon, is actor Imran Khan.
The I hate Love Story actor has stated that how three actresses mentioned to him that they were sexually harassed by Vikas. While taking to Indian Express, Imran said, “I have heard his stories from three other actresses. Ranging from inappropriate touching to straight up saying that if you were cast in the film, what will I get in return,” he said. Imran said he wanted to speak against sexual harassment in Bollywood but was advised against it. “I was advised to stay quiet because they said people will assume I am trying to grab publicity. They (people) will say I am trying to become relevant and come in the news since my films have not worked well. Time and again, people around me will tell me to not speak up,”
Imran recounted a party where he did tried to talk about Vikas’ misdeeds but soon realized that he was the odd man out. “I saw himsmiling (Vikas Bahl), posing for pictures with every celebrity in the industry. At that point, he started making a film with Hrithik (Roshan). I was like how is it in Hollywood a culprit is shunned but here he was making a proper film. Everyone was socializing with him. So, I brought it up at the party and realized only I was only odd one there,” said Imran.
“I cannot be silent about it anymore. My conscience will not allow me to…I do not want them to feel that men in the industry are not standing by them. I have chosen my words and said what I intended to say. I have been silent for long enough and it makes me feel dirty,” concluded Imran.
Vikas earlier sent a legal notice to Anurag and Vikramaditya for maligning his image, let’s see what will be his reaction on Imran’s allegations.
