Tajikistan singer Abdu Rozik, who gained immense popularity in India after his participating in the reality show Bigg Boss 16, is currently seen on the cooking-based television series Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment Season 2. Earlier today, rumours suggested that Abdu would be quitting the show. However, his team has now denied the speculation, calling it "baseless."

Abdu's team told Pinkvilla, "Abdu Rozik has not quit Laughter Chef 2." He is on a short break due to Ramadan, spending time at home for religious observance. Any news claiming otherwise is baseless. The 21-year-old singer shared the portal's news on his Instagram story, confirming that he is not quitting the show.

Abdu, who is currently in Panjakent, Tajikistan, will resume shooting for Laughter Chefs Season 2 from April 1, after celebrating Eid.

Meanwhile, the upcoming weekend's episode will be a Holi special, featuring a star-studded lineup guaranteed to bring colour and comedy. The episode will feature Mika Singh, Sajid Khan, Vivian DSena, Shilpa Shirodkar.

In July 2024, Abdu was set to tie the knot to Amira, a resident of Sharjah, UAE. However, after 6 months, he has called off his engagement with his fiancée due to 'cultural difference.'

He met Amira at Cipriani Dolci at Dubai Mall in February in 2024.

Speaking about the same, Abdu said that the constant hate and trolling being spewed at him and Amira online had started taking a toll on their relationship. "The trolling was the biggest reason for calling off my wedding. Amira was deeply affected by the negativity that followed our engagement announcement. This constant barrage of hate began to take a toll on her mental well-being, and I couldn't bear to see her continue to be a target," he told ETimes.
