In a horrifying incident, a Ukrainian model, who had been missing for 10 days after attending a 'sex party' at a Dubai hotel on March 9, was found on the side of a road with broken spine and limbs. She was rushed to the hospital and was saved after undergoing four surgeries.
According to reports, the model has been identified as 20-year-old Maria Kovalchuk, who told her friends that she was attending a hotel party in Dubai. But when she missed her flight to Thailand, her family grew worried, and when they tried getting in touch with her, she was unreachable.
Ten days after the party, she was discovered on the side of a road in Dubai, in a near-dead state, with horrific injuries, broken spine and limbs, and blood all over. As per reports, she was unable to speak after being found.
The Russian media reported that Kovalchuk's relatives believe she was trapped in one of the 'sex parties' of Dubai, where models, especially from Eastern Europe, are made sex slaves. Her family suspected that she was "raped for several days" before being thrown on the road.
Kovalchuk reportedly contacted two men from the "modelling business" in Dubai and she informed her family that she would be staying with them for the night. The next thing her family heard was that she was found bloodied on the road 10 days later.
She is currently undergoing treatment in Dubai, and her mother has flown down to her side from Norway. While the Dubai Police has confirmed her presence in the country, they have reportedly claimed that Kovalchuk's injuries occurred due to "falling from a construction site".
Meanwhile, Kovalchuk continues to be unable to speak.
