UPSC IAS 2025: Application Deadline Extended To February 18, Correction Window Opens February 19

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the deadline to submit the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2025 application form to February 18. The UPSC IAS application was formerly due on February 11 at 6 p.m. The UPSC IAS 2025 application must be completed by candidates on the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.

The Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) test deadline has been extended with UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary)-2025. Additionally, candidates will have the opportunity to make any necessary adjustments during the UPSC IAS 2-25 application correction window, which will run from February 19 to 25.

Important dates:

Original deadline for UPSC IAS application: February 11, 2025 (6 p.m.)

Extended deadline for application submission: February 18, 2025

Application correction window: February 19–25, 2025

Exam Date: May 25, 2025

How to apply:

Step 1: Go to upsconline.nic.in or upsc.gov.in, the official websites.

Step 2: On the homepage, click the One-Time Registration (OTR) option.

Step 3: Complete the required fields with your name, birthdate, and contact details.

Step 4: Send in the registration form for UPSC IAS. For verification, an OTP will be given to the registered phone number or email address.

Step 5: Use the generated credentials to log in after verification.

Step 6: Complete the UPSC IAS application form by entering your personal information, educational background, and selected testing locations.

Step 7: Pay the UPSC application fee and upload scanned photos.

Step 8: Fill out the form and save a copy for your records.

Around 979 positions, including 38 designated for applicants with physical impairments, will be filled by the UPSC IAS Civil Services preliminary test, which is scheduled for May 25. The UPSC IAS is divided into three phases: interview, mains, and preliminary. It is used to choose applicants for a number of jobs, such as those in the Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Administrative Service (IAS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
