The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2022 has not been delayed and will be held on July 17, according to the Press Information Bureau (PIB), which described the exam postponement notification as bogus. According to the false circular, the NEET UG 2022 exam was rescheduled for September 4th.

Dharmendra Pradhan, Education Minister said during a conclave "Students are always anxious. All our senior principals are here, educationists are here; they face this problem every month.”

“Every month there is an evaluation, every month there is an examination, students come to them, ‘madam this not done, I have not prepared, please extend that," he further added.

This comes after medical test aspirants used the hashtags #JUSTICEforNEETUG and #DeferNEETUG to seek the postponement of NEET UG 2022 on social media. The NTA, on the other hand, has not verified any postponement. The NEET admit cards are expected to be released soon by the NTA. The NEET admit card 2022 will be available at ntaneet.nic.in after it is issued.

Students once again expressed their concerns on social media and requested that authorities like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan should postpone the NEET UG exam. Students are asking for the NEET UG exam to be postponed for 40 days only with about 19 days remaining until the medical entrance exam for undergrads. The hashtag #modijiextendneetug is trending on Twitter today, with over 2 million tweets.

The NTA conducts NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) UG is a pre-medical entrance examination conducted all throughout the country.
