CUET UG 2025 Registration Window Opens At cuet.nta.nic.in; Here's How To Apply

The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025). Candidates who wish to apply can do so by visiting the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in.

CUET UG 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the registration window for the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG 2025). Candidates who wish to apply can do so by visiting the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in. The examination will be conducted from May to June in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

The CUET UG exam consists of 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

CUET UG 2025: Eligibility criteria

As per the previous notices, the eligibility requirements are as follows:

1. Candidates must have completed the final 10+2 exam from a recognized state or central board. Finished an Intermediate or two-year Pre-University test from a reputable university or board. Applicants must complete the final exams for the National Defence Academy's two-year Joint Services Wing course.

2. Completed the NIOS Senior Secondary Examination with at least five subjects. Finished the Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination. Obtain a diploma approved by AICTE or a state board for a minimum of three years.

CUET UG 2025: Application fees

The application fees for the CUET UG 2025 category-wise are as follows:

1. General: Rs 1,000 for up to 3 subjects, Rs 400 for each additional subject

2. OBC-NCL, EWS: Rs 900 for up to 3 subjects, Rs 375 for each additional subjects

3. SC/ST/PwD/PwBD/Third gender: Rs 800 for up to 3 subjects, Rs 350 for each additional subjects

4. Centres outside India: Rs 4,500 for up to 3 subjects, Rs 1,800 for each additional subjects

Aspirants will be given the following documents throughout the registration procedure:

1. Valid email address and phone number

2. Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates

3. Scanned photograph

4. A scanned copy of the signature

5. Date of birth certificate

6. Category certificate (if applicable) in PDF format

7. Bank account details for fee payment

CUET UG 2025: How to apply?

To apply for CUET UG 2025, applicants can take the following basic steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website of CUET at cuet.nta.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the 'CUET(UG) – 2025 Registration' available under the candidate activity tab.

Step 3: After this, complete the registration procedure and then log in.

Step 4: Now, fill out the application form, upload the documents make the necessary payment, and then submit.

Step 5: Download the CUET UG 2025 form and take a printout of the same for further reference.

Why CUET UG 2025 is conducted?

The CUET (UG) offers a streamlined admission process to Central Universities and Participating Universities (State/Deemed/Private) in 2025.

The previous year, over 13.47 lakh (1.347 million) applicants enrolled, and the 2024 edition, which took place between May 15 and 29, included a hybrid format that allowed for both online and offline tests. All the test applicants, 7.17 lakh were male, 6.30 lakh were female, and seven were classified as transgender, demonstrating the exam's breadth and diversity.
