The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification regarding the facilities available for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) students appearing for the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2025. The board has outlined several options that can help CwSN students during their exams, and schools are encouraged to apply for these facilities through the CBSE portal.

How Schools Can Apply for Facilities for CwSN Students

If CwSN students wish to avail themselves of any of the available facilities or exemptions, the request must be submitted by the concerned school through the CBSE web portal, just like in previous years.

Schools need to log into the Pariksha Sangam portal using their login ID and password. From there, they will see the list of CwSN students as filled in the LOC (List of Candidates) data along with the facilities that apply to each student, based on their disability.

Steps to Request Facilities for CwSN Students

If the student requires any facilities, the school can select them in the portal. These details will then be reflected on the admit card, ensuring that examination centres are informed and can make the necessary arrangements.

This helps ensure that students with special needs are not inconvenienced during their exams.

Important Dates & Submission Process

The portal for uploading these requests and documents will be available from December 18, 2024, to December 28, 2024. Schools must submit all requests within this period. Requests sent directly to CBSE through offline methods will also need to be uploaded during this time. \

CBSE will not accept any requests after the deadline or in offline mode, and the schedule will not be extended. Therefore, it is crucial for schools to complete the process within the specified timeframe.
