The Border Security Force (BSF) has announced vacancies for Specialist and General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) positions. Total Vacancies Available
The BSF recruitment drive will fill a total of 25 positions, which include:
Specialist (Surgeon, Gynaecologist, Radiologist, Pathologist, Anaesthesiologist, Ophthalmologist): 16 posts
General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): 9 posts
Age Limit for Applicants
Candidates applying for these positions must be under 67 years of age. Applicants exceeding this age will not be eligible for consideration.
Essential Qualifications
Specialist:
A postgraduate degree or diploma in the relevant specialization and an MBBS degree are required.
Postgraduate degree holders must have at least 1.5 years of experience, while diploma holders must have 2.5 years of experience in the relevant field.
GDMO:
Candidates must have an MBBS degree and must have completed a valid internship.
Salary Details
Specialist: Rs 85,000 per month
General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): Rs 75,000 per month
