Nikhil Kamath is, for many, an icon and a force among the young entrepreneurs in India. The co-founder of Zerodha, Kamath, at 38, is relatively younger than many of the stalwarts of the business world in India. But it appears that the millennials in Kamath got a 'reality check' on Valentine's day.

Nikhil Kamath's Day Out

No, it was not a rejection from a prom date, but, Kamath sat down with a bunch of individuals under 25, and this is what came out of it.

The Zerodha boss took to X to share his Valentine's Day experiment.

In the post, Kamath said, "The big takeaway from a full day with India's brightest under age 25 is that I feel like an idiot."

In parentheses, he added that he needs to stop running around doing random meetings and spend more time with these youngsters.

Giving his verdict on the Generation or the GenZ, which is one generation after his own (millennials), Kamath said, " This generation is soo much smarter than mine."

A reassured Kamath further added, "If this is going to be new India, India is going to be just fine. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone ❤️"

Kamath recently made headlines, when he sat down with PM Modi for a a conversation, which garnered a lot of eyeballs.

Kamath's Modi Interview

However, this interview with Modi conspicuously comes at a time, when Zerodha has been looking to enter the banking space, as the company has ruled out an IPO, and therefore going public.

After Modi, another podcast/interview of Kamath and his brother Nithin Kamath went viral, in which they interviewed American entrepreneur Bryan Johnson.

In this podcast/interview, Johnson left the event midway due to high pollution levels in India. This brought some attention to the high levels of toxicity in the air.
