Chandigarh: Steel Strips Wheels has delivered its strongest-ever monthly performance, driven by robust demand across key automotive and agricultural segments.
SSWL achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in March 2026, crossing the Rs 500 crore mark for the first time. Net turnover reached Rs 520.75 crore, compared to Rs 433.70 crore last year, reflecting a 20.07 percent increase, while gross turnover rose to Rs 603.92 crore, up 14.13 percent.
The company recorded its highest-ever sales in the commercial vehicle segment, with truck volumes rising 74 percent year-on-year. Passenger car alloy wheels also showed strong traction with 20 percent growth by value, while overall automotive demand remained steady across segments.
Agricultural demand continued to support performance, with tractor segment volumes increasing 31 percent year-on-year. This reflects sustained rural demand and seasonal strength, contributing significantly to the company’s overall volume growth during the month.
While domestic segments saw strong growth, exports declined 44 percent by value and 54 percent by volume. Despite this, overall performance remained strong, with total growth of 20 percent by value and 8 percent by volume, indicating resilience in core markets. The record March performance highlights SSWL’s ability to capitalize on domestic demand, positioning the company for sustained growth despite export headwinds.
