– Rs.311 crore order from Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd
– Rs. 38 crore order from Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation Ltd
Shriram EPC Limited (SEPC), one of the leading service providers of integrated design, engineering, procurement, construction and project management services for infrastructure projects in Roads & Highways, Water & Sewer, Renewable energy, Process and Metallurgical plants and Municipal service sector projects throughout India, today announced that it has won multiple orders aggregating to Rs. 349 crore.
The first order amounting to Rs. 311 crore from Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. involves improvement of water supply system in Gaya Municipal Corporation. This order envisages renovation of existing infrastructure such as tubewells, overhead tanks and ground level reservoirs as well as construction of new overhead tanks and reservoirs. The scope also includes setting up of distribution network through piping as well as instrumentation and other electrical works including software installation. The Asian development Bank funded project is to be executed over a period of 42 months, with operations and maintenance period of 3 years.
The second order amounting to Rs. 38 crore is from the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development & Finance Corporation Ltd and entails construction of pipeline, Overhead tank and distribution network of 24*7 Water Supply System at Byadgi along with operations and maintenance. The Asian Development Bank funded project is to be executed over a period of 24 months while the O&M component extends upto 8 years post completion.
The O&M component includes management of the entire water supply system from source to ensure adequate water pressure, quality and quantity of water supplied, processes for meter readings and billing, setting up collections as well as customer relationship management, Updation of customer database and monitoring non-collections.
