Don’t Pay For EPFO Services, All 13 Services Available Free On UMANG & EPFO Website

EPFO offers 13 key services absolutely free through its website and UMANG app. People are advised not to pay agents or cyber cafés. These services are fast, digital, and secure. Always use official platforms to avoid fraud.

New Delhi: The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has told all members, companies, and pensioners not to take help from agents or cyber cafés for EPFO-related work.

All services are completely free on the EPFO website and the UMANG app.

Some cyber cafés and agents charge people for filling online forms. But the same forms can be filled easily at home by yourself.

These Services Are Free

- Update KYC

- File Claim

- Correct Profile Details

- Transfer Claim

- Register Complaint

All these can be done online without paying any fee.

New and Helpful Features

- Advance claim up to Rs 1 lakh is settled automatically

- Employer approval not needed in most cases

- Profile correction using Aadhaar

- Option to remove wrong Member ID from UAN

- No need to upload photo of cheque or passbook

- No need for employer approval to add bank details (from April 2025)

- UAN activation using face authentication on UMANG app

Strong data security: All data is safe with strong cyber protection

In the financial year 2024–25, over 16 lakh complaints were solved quickly on EPFiGMS. About 1.74 lakh complaints were also resolved on CPGRAMS.

EPFO’s Advice

- Don’t pay any third party for EPFO services.

- Use only www.epfindia.gov.in or the UMANG app.

- If you face problems, go to your nearest EPFO office or call the helpline.

- EPFO wants to give safe, quick, and easy services to every worker in India.

- Be careful of fake agents. Use only official websites and apps.
