Cremica Food Park with largest processing line inaugurated

MUMBAI: The government’s move to boost growth opportunity in the food processing industry and agriculture sector got another impetus with the opening of Cremica Mega Food Park. Spread over 55-acre landscape in Una district of Himachal Pradesh, the food park was inaugurated by Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Union Minister of Food Processing Industry, and Jai Ram Thakur, Chief Minister, Himachal Pradesh. The food park, which was set up at a cost of over Rs 100 crore, will have India’s largest fruit processing line having a capacity of 1,50,000 tonnes of fruits and vegetables per annum.
