New Delhi: The 20th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is expected to be credited in June 2025. Farmers who are eligible under the scheme may get Rs 2,000 directly in their bank accounts the last of this month.
So far, the government has not announced the exact date officially. The 19th installment was released on 24 February 2025, and over 9.8 crore farmers, including 2.4 crore women, got the benefit.
How to Apply for PM Kisan Yojana
If you are eligible and not yet registered, follow these steps:
Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in
Go to the 'Farmer Corner' and click on 'New Farmer Registration'
Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code
Fill in the required details and click 'Yes'
Complete the application form and save or print the copy for your records
Who Cannot Get the PM Kisan Benefit?
Some people are not eligible for this scheme:
Professionals like doctors, engineers, CAs
Senior citizens who get pension over Rs 10,000
Retired employees from government jobs
Farmers whose bank account is not linked with Aadhaar
Farmers who have not completed e-KYC
Rs 6,000 Benefit Every Year
Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive Rs 6,000 every year, given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. The aim is to provide financial help to small and marginal farmers for farming and household expenses.
All landholding farmer families with agricultural land in their name can get the benefit if they meet the criteria.
