Mumbai: Apollo Tyres Ltd announced on Thursday its consolidated net profit surged to ₹348.87 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. This compares to a net profit of ₹12.88 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Revenue Performance

The company's revenue from operations reached ₹7,397.79 crore for the quarter, an increase from ₹6,560.76 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2025. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹7,456.12 crore, up from ₹6,579.65 crore year-on-year.

Expense Overview

Total expenses for the reporting quarter were ₹7,012.03 crore, an increase from ₹6,171.15 crore in the year-ago period. Employee benefits expense rose to ₹962.80 crore from ₹869.55 crore.

Earnings Per Share

Basic earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter were ₹5.52, a substantial rise from ₹0.20 in the same quarter last year. Diluted EPS also increased to ₹5.52 from ₹0.20.

Director Resignation

The company announced the resignation of Gaurav Kumar as Whole-time Director and a member of the Risk Management Committee, effective close of business hours on 6 August 2026. Kumar will continue as Chief Financial Officer for a transitional period, the company said.

Exceptional Items

During the quarter, Apollo Tyres recorded an exceptional expense of ₹23.54 crore. This includes ₹24.74 crore received from IL&FS Financial Services Ltd as an interim distribution, disclosed as an exceptional item.
