Ahmedabad: In a major development for school-level sports in India, Adani International School has partnered with the International Schools Sports Organisation (ISSO) to improve sports infrastructure and student-athlete training across international curriculum schools. This collaboration aims to create a globally recognised sports environment that helps students grow both in academics and athletics.
Namrata Adani Joins ISSO Advisory Board
As part of this partnership, Mrs. Namrata Adani, Promoter of Adani International School, has joined the Advisory Board of ISSO. Her involvement will bring strong leadership and vision to help shape the future of sports in international schools. She stated that this partnership is a chance to create inclusive and future-ready schools, where students are supported to succeed in both studies and sports.
What is ISSO?
ISSO, formed in 2017, is India’s only sports body dedicated to schools affiliated with international boards like IB, Cambridge, Edexcel, and NSBA. It currently works with over 430 schools, across 22 sports, and organises 300+ tournaments every year, impacting more than 22,000 students.
