Alia Bhatt, who is expecting her first child with Ranbir Kapoor, recently raised eyebrows when she posed in high heels during the promotions of the couple's upcoming film 'Brahmastra'.

Photos and videos of the actress are splashed all over the internet and her fans seem to be rather concerned about her choice of footwear during her pregnancy.

On Friday, Alia stepped out in a pink top and black pants and proudly flaunted her baby bump and pregnancy glow as she posed for the shutterbugs. However, what also caught the netizens' eyes was that the mom-to-be chose to complete her outfit with a pair of stilettos.

While one user commented, "Why those heels even in pregnancy bro?", another wrote, "Please stop wearing heals."

A concerned fan stated, "Ye heels sambhal kar pehne toh acha. Thoda risky hota hai is time pe!!"

A few days ago, Alia had called out netizens for their unwarranted opinion on what she does and wears during her pregnancy. She had said that while she understands that her fans are concerned about her and the baby, they should also know that she has people around her who look after her and that she has the right to style herself however she wants to.

On the work front, 'Darlings', which is Alia's maiden production, has been getting good response ever since its release on August 5 on Netflix. Her upcoming film 'Brahmastra', in which she stars opposite her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, is due for release on September 9.

mitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and south actor Nagarjuna will also be seen in prominent roles in Ayan Mukerji's directorial.

'Brahmastra' is extremely special for Ranbir and Alia as the two fell in love with each other during the shoot of the film.

Alia will also be seen making her Hollywood debut with the spy thriller 'Heart of Stone', which also features 'Wonder Woman' star Gal Gadot and 'Belfast' actor Jamie Dornan. The Netflix film is directed by Tom Harper from a script penned by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder.

Besides that, she has Karan Johar's directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani', which stars Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, and Dharmendra.
