Senior Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9 leaving the entire Hindi film fraternity shocked and bereaved.
While the news of Kaushik's untimely demise broke several hearts, two persons who have been the most devastated are the actor's best friends Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor.
But keeping up with their fallen friend's motto that the show must go on, Anupam Kher, on the occasion of Kaushik's 67th birth anniversary on April 13, organised a special musical night in the memory of his friend.

The musical night was attended by some of the biggest names from the showbiz, including Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Chunky Panday, and others.
Several photos and videos from the event have gone viral on the internet in which both Anupam and Anil can be seen getting teary-eyed remembering their late friend.
In one of the videos, Anil can be seen bursting into tears and crying inconsolably as Anupam called him on stage while recalling his last conversation with Kaushik.
Anil can be seen walking down the stairs towards the stage, only to break down and go back to his seat. An inconsolable Anil asked Anupam to continue without him and the latter too was seen fighting back his tears while saying, "Anil tu pagal hai. Main theek thaak ja raha tha."
Satish Kaushik's death
Satish Kaushik breathed his last on March 9 in Delhi after suffering a massive cardiac arrest.
The actor was in the national capital to meet his friends and celebrate Holi with them, which he did. However, post the festivities, he complained to his manager that he was feeling uneasy and asked his driver to rush him to the hospital.
But the actor passed away in the car even before he could be taken to the hospital.
Kaushik was cremated on March 10 in Mumbai in the presence of his wife Shashi, daughter Vanshika, and several members of B-Town.
