Several Bollywood celebrities attended the first day of the Indian edition of the multi-genre music festival Lollapalooza in Mumbai on Saturday.

The fest saw Bollywood celebrities Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne Khan, Kajol, RajKummar Rao, Patralekhaa and Huma Qureshi enjoying the music.

Huma took to her Instagram story to give a glimpse of the fun she had at the music fest with RajKummar and Patralekhaa.

According to several media reports, Hrithik Roshan cheered for his girlfriend Saba Azad at the event. She took the stage by storm and left the crowd in awe with her electrifying performance.

Hrithik's ex-wife Sussanne Khan attended the fest with her boyfriend Arslan Goni. She also shared a photo with Saba and called her 'fire cracker'.

On the other hand, Kajol attended the event with her son.

First day of fest

The international sounds that set the mood of the evening began with Chelsea Cutler and Japanese Breakfast bringing in fresh sounds. The power packed rock genre had fans grooving in the grand arena with the iconic Greta Van Fleet.

Japanese Breakfast was a visual and audio treat for the audiences and many who were new to the music joined the crowds, vibing to the live performance, setting into a trance. At about 6:45 pm, 'Brown Munde', A.P. Dhillon along with Shinda Kahlon performed top sets of the evening, including the latest from his recently released album, 'Two Hearts Never Break The Same' and their smash hits like 'Summer High', 'Brown Munde', 'Excuses', and 'Faraar'.

Lollapalooza India in Mumbai

For the first time in Asia, Lollapalooza, one of the world's largest music festivals, is held in Mumbai. India has joined Chile, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, and Sweden as the eighth nation to host this yearly event.

This year Lollapalooza's line-up includes over 40 international artists, with 26 award nominees. Over 60,000 fans are expected to attend the festival.
