Months after tying the knot with Sohael Khaturiya, actress Hansika Motwani has addressed getting slammed for breaking her husband's first marriage.
Hansika and Sohael tied the knot in December 2022 in the presence of their close friends and families in Rajasthan. Sohael was previously married to Hansika's friend Rinky.
Now, Hansika and Sohael have addressed getting blamed on the reality show Hansika's Love Shaadi Drama which released on an OTT platform. Sohael said, "The news that I was previously married came out and it came out in a wrong light. It came out as if the breakup was because of Hansika, which is absolutely untrue and baseless."
Hansika added, "Just because I knew the person at that time doesn't mean it was my fault. I have nothing to do with this. Because I am a public figure, it was very easy for people to point at me and make me the villain. This was a price I pay for being a celebrity."
Sohael and Rinky tied the knot 2014, however, their marriage lasted for a very short time. Hansika had also attended their wedding and several pictures of the same surfaced online during the actress's wedding last year.
Hansika and Sohael's love story
Hansika and Sohael exchanged wedding vows on December 4, 2022, at Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur. Although their wedding festivities were a private affair, many photos and videos have gone viral on social media.
Hansika had a dream proposal in Paris in November, photos of which posted on the couple's social media handles had kept the fans' interest high. If reports are to be believed, Hansika and Sohael are childhood friends and have been dating for several years.
