Bollywood actress and former Miss India, Neha Dhupia marked 20 years since she won the crown.
The 41-year-old, was recently a jury member for Miss India World 2022 title grand finale hosted at the Jio World Convention Centre.
Sini Shetty from Karnataka was on Sunday announced the winner of Miss India World 2022 title. Rajasthan's Rubal Shekhawat emerged as first runner-up and Shinata Chauhan from Uttar Pradesh was named second runner-up.
She was joined by actors Dino Morea and Malaika Arora, designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, choreographer Shiamak Davar, and former cricketer Mithali Raj.
Fellow actor and former beauty queen Dia Mirza took to Instagram and penned an appreciation post for Dhupia.
Neha won Miss India in 2002, whereas Dia was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International in the year 2000.
Dia wrote, “Celebrating 20 years of this fierce, authentic, strong and beautiful woman.”
Dhupia told PTI, the journey of Miss India brings back "memories of the priceless experiences I've had with this pageant".
"It's almost like reliving every moment of my journey with these young glamorous girls who are so full of enthusiasm and capability to take on the world with power and elegance.
"Certainly, there are challenges with the digital process in the wake of the pandemic, however, I'm confident it will be as exciting and worthwhile irrespective of the layout," the actor said in a statement.
Neha and her actor-husband Angad Bedi were blessed with baby boy Guriq in October 2021. They got married in a private ceremony in Delhi in 2018. The couple welcomed their firstborn, daughter Mehr in the same year.
Meanwhile on work front, Neha was last seen in the film 'A Thursday'. Directed by Behzad Khambata, the movie also stars Yami Gautam Dhar, Dimple Kapadia, and Atul Kulkarni among others. Neha plays the role of a pregnant police officer in the film.
