Bhopal(Madhya Pradesh): Members of Beauty Parlour Association, Bhopal, celebrated World Beauticians’ Day here on Sunday. Looking their best, the beauticians, hairstylists and others in the beauty industry participated in celebrations dancing to retro Hindi film songs at Atishay Hotel on Sunday.
The 45-minutes dance sequence, choreographed by Milind, won the hearts of the audience. The songs included ‘Thandi Hawa Kali Ghata…,’ ‘Mehbooba o Mehbooba…,’ ‘Salam-e-ishq meri jaan …,’ ‘Jhumka gira re bareli ke bazaar mein.’ etc.The dance was presented by Asha Thakur, Meera Gupta, Neelima Nayak, Seema Shukla, Shobha, Meenu Khatri, Madhu Tiwari, Rekha Sagar and Pushpa Shakya.

Besides that , the event began with the Saraswati Vandana ‘Veena Vadini Var De…,’ by senior singer Kriti Sood. Beauticians Asha Thakur, Kulja Gupta and Meera Gupta staged a a ‘Panchayati Client Pareshan Beautician, ’ while a play ‘Kutur Kutur’ were presented by kids of members of the association including Pihu Gautam, Rajkumari and Alisha Verma.
Senior members of the association Vandana Jain and Asha Thakur were feted with Lifetime Achievement Award. President of the association Sarita Shrivastava said that the aim of felicitation of seniors members is to inform their struggle to the younger generation. A farewell was also given to secretary of the association Kulja Gupta. RJ Anuj Pathak conducted the event.
