Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Police officers in Gwalior celebrated Holi after working tirelessly for 36 hours, on Saturday. The event took place at the Gwalior Police Line, where senior officers and constables were seen playing with colours and Gulal and dancing joyously.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dharamveer Singh started the celebrations by extending Holi greetings to everyone. As officers applied colors and gulal to each other, the entire atmosphere turned vibrant with festive joy.

Popular Holi songs like ‘Rang Barse’ and ‘Hori Khele Raghuveera’ played in the background as SSP, ASP, CSP, DSP, and even women police officers danced to the tunes.

A chance for ever-attentive officers to be carefree!

On Friday, during the Holi festival, police personnel worked non-stop for 36 hours to maintain law and order in the city. As per tradition, they celebrated Holi the next day, on Purwaa or Dooj, at the police headquarters. The celebration was a lively affair, where officers, who are usually seen managing security, enjoyed the festival like a carefree group of revelers.

Apart from playing with colors, many police personnel also showcased their talents by singing, reciting poetry, and dancing, making the event even more memorable.
