Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): A 32-year-old farmer died after his tractor overturned while plowing field in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur on Wednesday evening.
The incident unfolded in Ranguwa village of Matguwan police station area. The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Heera Lodhi. He was plowing the field of Durga Ahirwar, a resident of the same village on his tractor.
According to the family and the farm owner, while applying brakes during plowing, Heera's foot slipped, causing the tractor to become unbalanced and roll over and he got trapped under it. He died on the spot.
Four children lost their father
The deceased Heera Lodhi is survived by his four small children. Three daughters aged 8, 5, and 2, and a 4‑year‑old son. He was the sole breadwinner of the family.
Upon receiving the information about the incident, the family rushed to the spot and the body was brought to the district hospital at night. A post‑mortem was conducted the following morning on Thursday.

Matguwan police is investigating the entire matter, however station in‑charge Ankur Choubey could not be reached for any official statement as his mobile phone was switched off.
