Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): Three friends lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. The victims, all BSc final-year students, were returning from a pilgrimage to Mathura and Vrindavan when an unidentified vehicle hit their bike on Sunday. The accident ocurred in the Makhanpur police station area of the district.
The victims, all residents of Madhya Pradesh were students at a degree college in Etawah. All three victims died on the spot due to the intense impact at collision. Police has filed a complaint at the unidentified driver and hunt for the same has begun.

According to information, the victims have been identified as Sachin Rawat, resident of Simaria village in Shivpuri district, while the other two, Pramod Rawat and Pavendra Rawat, hailed from Dabra and Bhitarwar in Gwalior, respectively. According to reports, all three were students at SS Memorial Degree College in Jaswant Nagar, Etawah. They lived together in a rented room in Karhal, Mainpuri. On the morning of the incident, they had set out for Mathura-Vrindavan but met with the fatal accident on their way back.
Makhanpur Police Station SHO Anil Singh stated that the accident occurred near Ghunpai village on NH-2. The unidentified vehicle rammed into the bike, killing all three on the spot. The police have registered a case against the unknown driver and sent the bodies for post-mortem. Further investigation is underway.
