BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) has made several recommendations regarding technical education colleges demanding original documents from students seeking admissions and delays in returning them.

The Commission has recommended that the technical education department should issue orders to all technical colleges not to ask the students to submit their original documents at the time of admissions. Notices should be displayed in all colleges for the knowledge and information of the students that the colleges are bound to return the original documents of the students immediate after examining them.

The government should also make proper rules and issue guidelines regarding issuance of transfer certificate to the students.
