Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Police station in-charge of Morba in Singrauli district, Kapoor Tripathi, was removed following complaints against him and attached to the Police Training School, Bhauri, Bhopal.
He filed a petition in the High Court challenging his transfer. The court has directed the Police Headquarters to appear on April 8.
The Police Headquarters had received serious complaints regarding his conduct, following which he was transferred from the police station to Bhopal.
After the transfer, Tripathi obtained a stay on the order. On Thursday, the court directed the Police Headquarters to appear before it and explain the reasons for his transfer.
Cop caught using unfair means, no training but promoted
Deputy Director of the Police Academy, Bhopal, Sanjay Kumar Agarwal found that inspector Kapoor Tripathi, while appearing in examinations between 2013 and 2015, was caught using unfair means in a paper on IPC, Justice and Minor Act.
He failed in three other papers during the same period. In another batch in 2016, he appeared in two papers, failing in one and passing the other.He was given an opportunity to appear in the 2025 batch but did not appear for the examination.
