Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Congress staged a unique protest outside Vidhan Sabha on Thursday, when Mahidpur MLA Dinesh Jain Boss dressed as Kumbhakarna, reached the venue.
Demanding a CBI probe in ex -RTO constable Saurbah Sharma case, the MLA laid down on the road, accusing the BJP of sleeping like 'Kumbhkarana' on transport scam and unemployment issues.
The MLA had stickers pasted on his clothes, where as, other protestors held placard which read slogans like, 'Jago sarkar jago, janta ke muddon se mat bhago...(Wake up, government! Don't run away from the people's issues); Janta bhookhi, berozgar...Sarkar soti chadar taan...(The people remain hungry, unemployed... while government sleeps tight), and many more.

LoP Umangh Singhar, MLA Hemant Katare raise issues
It was Leader of Opposition Umangh Singhar and Congress MLA Hemant Katare who raised the issue through call attention motion. Singhar said even after probes by multiple agencies, owner of 52 kg gold biscuits and 11 crore cash is unknown.
Notably, the gold and cash which was seized from an abandoned vehicle in Mendora. Singhar claimed that gold biscuits came from Dubai. He also levelled serious allegations on government over the issue.
Hemant Katare tried to point fingers towards the involvement of former transport minister but parliamentary affairs minister Kailash Vijayvargiya interrupted him by citing the rules.
Katare also pointed fingers towards the involvement of transport officials in the case.
'No diary was found by Lokayukta'
Transport Minister Udaipratap Singh, in his reply, said that no dairy was found during the Lokayukta raid conducted against Saurabh Sharma. He stated that, along with the Lokayukta, other efficient agencies like the EOW, Income Tax Department, and Enforcement Directorate are conducting the investigation.
He argued that until the reports from these agencies are received, it would be illogical to call for a CBI investigation.

Seventh day of budget session today
Throught the unique protest, Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar and other Congress MLAs tried to wake the government up by blowing a horn on the seventh day of the Budget Session of the Legislative Assembly.
The issue of former RTO constable Saurabh Sharma and the scam in the Transport Department are expected to be raised in the House today.
Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar will oversee the question-and-answer session, ensuring that legislators' questions and ministers' responses are addressed.

The Madhya Pradesh Cooperative Societies Amendment Bill may also be presented in the House today.
Following this, a department-wise discussion and voting on the budget will take place.
Earlier, on Tuesday, discussions on the Panchayat and Rural Development Department and the Labor Department were held, and the respective minister, Prahlad Patel, had already provided his responses.
