Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) declared the result of Class 10 second examination on Tuesday evening.
A total of 50,789 (42.67%) regular students have passed the examination. Of them 24,812 (42.67%) are girls and 25,977 (39.03%) are boys. In all, 6,454 students have passed in the first division while 43,049 and 1, 286 students have passed in the second and third divisions respectively. About 68,250 students including 4058 boys and 27,669 girls have failed the examination.
A total of 11,714 (32.18%) private students have passed the examination. Of them, 5,315 (35.34%) are girls and 6,399 (29.96 %) are boys. About 73 students have passed in the first division while 3,735 and 7,906 students have passed in the second and third division respectively. About 24685 students including 14962 (boys) and 9723 (girls), failed the examination.
A total of 1,19,048 regular students and 36, 427 private candidates from government and private schools of the state participated in the examination.
According to Madhya Preadesh Board of Secondary Education secretary KD Tripathi, students, parents and teachers can access results by entering their roll number on the website - mpbse.nic.in. It is for the first time that the MPBSE has conducted a second examination both for students who failed the main examination or who want to improve their scores.
