Madhya Pradesh: First Supplementary Budget Of ₹2356.80 Crores Tabled In House

State government tabled the first supplementary budget for the year 2025-26

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): State government tabled the first supplementary budget for the year 2025-26 in the state Assembly on Tuesday. The budget has made the net provision of ₹2356.80 crore, including ₹1003.99 in revenue head and ₹1352.81 crores in capital head.

Under the home department head, a sum of ₹62.20 crores has been earmarked for centralized police call center and control room system, ₹57 crores for criminal tracking system and related arrangement etc.

Meanwhile, on the basis of recommendation of 15th Finance Commission, ₹1602.30 crore has been provisioned for grant in the health sector.

Under Urban development and housing department head, provision of ₹142 crore has been made for construction of Unity Mall, ₹20 crore for grant to development authorities and ₹9.51 crore for cities 2.0 component 2 (State Action).

 ₹50 crores has been provisioned for construction of comprehensive bridges, ₹140 crores for comprehensive construction works and other projects of PWD. 

Under the head of technical education, skill development and employment department, a sum of ₹113.15 crores has been provisioned for aid meant to non-government technical colleges and institutions. Apart from this, ₹10 crores has been provisioned for Pradhanmantri Abyudaya Yojana under Schedule Caste Welfare Department.
