Bhopal: Twelve Units of Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (MPTDC) have won Trip Advisors Annual Travellers’ Choice Award 2021. These units included Baghira Jungle Resort, Mocha, Betwa Retreat Orchha, Resort Mocha, Betwa Retreat Orchha, Bison Resort Madhai, Holiday Homes Amarkantak, Jungle Camp Panna, Kiplings Court Pench, Marble Rocks Bhedaghat, Safari Lodge, Mukki, Sheesh Mahal Orchha, White Tiger Forest Lodge Bandhavgarh respectively. Besides that, Tansen Residency, the Gwalior based unit of the corporation has won the “Best of the Best” award 2021 in Trip Advisors Traveller’s Choice category.
Tourist guide "Trip Advisor" US (United State of America) has announced the award. Managing Director of the Corporation, S Vishwanathan said that this is a proud achievement not only for Madhya Pradesh tourism but also for the entire state. And all credit goes to the efficient management and guidance of all the senior managers of the units and all the staff working in the units, he said.
Every year, this award is given by the "Trip Advisor" company, which provides guidance to the tourists regarding all the tourist places globally, on the basis of the reports received from the tourists who have visited various places all over the world.
Cities, hotels, restaurants and places from around the world are selected for the Travellers' Choice Award based on the ratings provided. Tourists from all over the world participate in it every year and vote on the basis of their choice. After this, the award is announced in each category by making a list of selected cities, tourist destinations, and hotels/restaurants of the world in each category.
