BHOPAL: Indore and Bhopal were the only districts to have reported under 100 cases on Monday as all other districts managed to keep the figure under. Indore reported 56 corona cases, while in Bhopal 79 fresh cases have come to fore. Gwalior and Jabalpur reported 6 and 16 new cases respectively.
Corona positive rate in Madhya Pradesh stood at †0.3 per cent on the day. There are currently 3,941 active cases in the state. With 242 fresh corona cases, the infection tally has climbed to 7,88,425 and the toll stands at 8,588.† Around 516 corona patients were discharged on the day. Indore active cases have come down to 698, while in Bhopal still 1,220 are undergoing treatment.
Similarly, Gwalior and Jabalpur have 59 and 131 active cases respectively. Around 69,202 samples were sent for testing while 186 samples were rejected.
No new patient in 19 districts
Nineteen districts- including Burhanpur, Bhind, Ashok Nagar, Niwari, Sheopur, Khandwa, Dindori, Umaria, Tikamgarh, Datia, Damoh, Singrauli, Balaghat, Sidhi, Anuppur, Katni, Shahdol, Narsingpur and Shivpuri did not see any fresh case. Their active cases are 2, 2, 37, 29, 24, 9, 7,23, 18, 24, 118, 15, 29, 20, 60,8, 16, and 21 respectively.
Satna, Barwani, Morena, Neemuch, Dewas, Jhabua,† Guna, Alirajpur and Agar-Malwa reported one corona case each while their active cases are 18, 19, 18, 43, 18, 18, 22, 3 and 19 respectively.
