Madhya Pradesh again first in the country with 11.4L vaccinaiton

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday again led in country with highest vaccination of 11,17,277 followed by Uttar Pradesh with 7,01,987 and Maharashtra with 6,02,043. Gujarat came fourth with 4,22,371 followed by Karnatka with 3,68,352. On June 21, the state had recorded 17 lakh vaccinations.

Madhya Pradesh continued mega vaccination drive to vaccinate more and more people before the impending Covid third wave. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan already clarified that drive will be also conducted in July.

Madhya Pradeshís vaccination tally went to 1,78,65,179 (1.79 crore approx). Twenty three districts recorded over 100 per cent vaccination. Guna and Narsingur recorded 101 per cent each while Mandla and Katni recorded 102 per cent each and Sagar and Jhabua recorded 103 per cent each. Chhindwara and Burhanpur recorded 106 per cent each while Harda, Ratlam and Rajgarh recorded 110 per cent vaccination each.

Shajapur and Datia recorded 114 per cent each while Dhar, Barwarni and Mandsaur recorded 116,117 and 118 per cent respectively. Sehore recorded 144 per cent leading in the state while Raisen recorded 127 per cent and Morena recorded 125 per cent vaccination.

Bhopal recorded 79 per cent while Indore recorded 93 per cent vaccination. Gwalior and Jabalpur recorded 87 per cent and 70 per cent respectively. Vaccination programme was conducted at 12,435 session sites (vaccination centres) in the state. Five trained workers are deployed at each and every session site in the state.
