Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh): In a tragic incident, a labourer accidentally fell into a well where he was working resulting in his death on Thursday. The incident spot is located behind the cremation ground of Chandranagar village near Khajuraho.
The deceased has been identified as Pancha Ahirwar. The incident occurred when the labourer was engaged in digging well for a private individual along with other family members.
Chandra Nagar police said the work of digging the well of Kripal Yadav was going on contract where Pancha Ahirwar and his entire family were working together.
Pancha Ahirwar's foot slipped while working here. He fell straight into the well due to which he died on the spot.
The police reached the spot and took out the body from the well and sent the body to Rajnagar Health Centre for post-mortem after making Panchnama. Further investigation is underway in the incident.
The whole family members of the deceased are in a bad condition due to the untimely death of the head of the house.
