BHOPAL : The gym trainer accused of raping a 24-year-old woman on pretext of marriage was arrested by Mahila Thana on Thursday. The arrested accused was already married and father of three children. He hid this fact from his live-in partner.
When the victim beautician who resides at Kolar came to know that the accused Nafees Khan (35) who was a gym trainer developed physical relationship with her by hiding this fact from past one-and-a-half year, on Wednesday she decided to file a rape complaint against him at Mahila Thana.
Following the complaint of the victim, the police arrested the accused from his residence Bag Farhat Afza on Thursday. Meanwhile following the arrest of accused when the victim was called at Mahila Thana to register her statements again, the agitated family members of nabbed accused reached here and threatened her of dire consequences.
The victim was later taken to MP Nagar police station amid police protection. Here too the family members followed the victim. However even after 48 hours of the complaint, the police still could not arrest another rape accused who developed physical relation with daughter of his friend on pretext of marriage.
Earlier the victim 25-year-old victim in her complaint with Mahila Thana stated that she hails from Vidisha and around four years ago accused Dinesh Jatav who was acquainted to her father brought her to Bhopal for her studies and here she started living with accused at his residence in Dwarka Nagar.
Later the accused developed physical relationship with her with promise that after completion of her studies he would get married with her and then they started to live in relationship. However later the accused married with another woman and has one child from her.
