Governor Mangubhai Patel recovers from COVID-19, discharged from AIIMS

The governor was admitted to the hospital on August 20 after testing positive for the infection.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Governor Mangubhai Patel was discharged on Monday after recovering from coronavirus-associated chest infection. He was admitted to AIIMS in Bhopal for treatment. Before leaving AIIMS, the Governor planted a peepal sapling in the hospital campus to mark the importance of trees for a healthy environment.

Executive Director, AIIMS, Bhopal, Dr Ajay Singh, Medical Superintendent Dr Manisha Shrivastava and others were present on the occasion. Executive Director Dr Ajai Singh wished good health to Governor Mangubhai C Patel.

“The governor was discharged today from the AIIMS Bhopal. Our team expressed our gratitude to him for showing confidence in our capabilities and services,” the institute director Dr Ajay Singh added.
