Green pledge for elimination of Single Use Plastic

Ganjbasoda (Madhya Pradesh): Environmental Planning & Coordination Organisation (EPCO), Bhopal has planned several activities to celebrate this year’s Van Mahotsav in Government Sanjay Gandhi Memorial P.G College on Monday.

With an aim to promote greenery and complete elimination of Single Use Plastic (SUP) material, they took the green pledge by the Eco Club of the college.

In the event, students and college staff pledged to do their best to protect earth and its natural environment under the guidance of Dr. Rekha Barethia, Principal of the college and under the leadership of Dr. Sumanlata Gupta, Dr. Vijay Shakya, Suman Vishwakarma.

In the program, the pledge to protect the natural environment, not to use single-use plastic material and to plant more trees and to preserve the environment was administered to the students and all the staff of the college. Also motivated to promote greenery and ban single use plastic.

Senior professors Dr. Naina Kanswa, Dr. Sarita Ghenghat, Dr. Sarika Srivastava, Dr. Rekha Jansal, Dr. Bindesh Shukla, Shivani Gaur, Dr. Kanchan Vaidya, Manish Dubey, Dr. R.D. All the staff of the college was also present in the event.
