Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday took potshots at the Congress and indicated at the fault lines within the Congress ranks.
Slamming the grand old party, Chouhan said that the Congress had become Ticket Badal Congress from Kapda Phaad Congress.
Chouhan's remarks were in context to the recent candidate change done by the Congress for different seats in the state and Kamal Nath's 'tear Digvijaya's clothes' comment respectively.
“ Out of fear, Congress changed tickets at many places. Now Congress situation has become very strange. Now, lets see what happens next in Congress,” he said while addressing public rallies held in support of BJP candidates on Wednesday.
He addressed public rally in favour of party candidates Prahalad Patel (Narsinghpur), Dr Sitasharan Sharma (Hoshangabad), Chandrashekar Deshmuk (Multai) and Sanjay Shah (Timarni).
Mounting attack on Congress, he said those who insult Sanatana Dharma could do no good. Taking Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh on target, he stated that Congress mentality sees kanya pujan as drama but for him little girls are like living goddesses. He said public welfare schemes including Ladli Behna Yojana was a maha yagyna to change the lives of women. He accompanied Prahalad Patel when the latter filed nomination in Narsinghpur.
