CS emphasises on need for building permanent infrastructure

BHOPAL: Chief Secretary Anthony de Sa has completed review of preparations for Global Investors Summit by 10 departments so far including Agriculture, Food Processing, Information Technology, Urban Administration, Tourism, Renewable Energy, Medical Education, Health, Higher Education, Technical Education and Skill Development departments.

The Chief Secretary sought information about efforts for new investments at different meetings. Reviewing preparations for Indore Global Investors Summit to be held in October 2014, the Chief Secretary said that concerning departments should maintain live contact with investors and solve their problems.

At the meetings, the Chief Secretary apprised himself of investments made in Madhya Pradesh in the wake of last Investors Summit, new achievements in industrial growth and preparations being made for ensuing summit. At a meeting in Mantralaya on Friday, the Chief Secretary sought information about preparations being made for the summit by Higher Education and Technical Education Departments.

The Chief Secretary said that constant efforts should be made to provide necessary infrastructure facilities to investors. This is necessary for augmentation of investors. Besides, attention should also be paid to construction of works of permanent nature in industrial areas which benefit common people also apart from investors.

Principal Secretary Technical Education and Skill Development Sanjay Kumar Singh and Commissioner Higher Education VS Niranjan informed about investments made so far and future possibilities. Principal Secretary Industries Mohammad Sulaiman, Secretary Finance Manish Rastogi and Managing Director of TRIFAC  Arun Kumar Bhatt were present on the occasion.
